On Tuesday, the second leg of the Italian Cup semi-final match between "Udinese" and Milan's "Inter" took place. Playing away, Milan's club managed to secure a 2-2 draw, guaranteeing them a spot in the final, as the first leg of this tie ended with "Inter" winning 1-0.

2 - 2 (first leg: 0-1, aggregate score: 2-3) 8` [0 - 1] Santiago Solari 83` [1 - 1] Christian Obodo 86` [1 - 2] David Pizarro 88` [2 - 2] Vincenzo Iaquinta (penalty)

Just eight minutes into the match, the visitors scored a crucial goal which greatly dimmed "Udinese"'s hopes of reaching the final. After a cross from Pierre Wome, which touched Julio Cruz, the ball reached Santiago Solari, whose shot the "Udinese" goalkeeper was unable to stop.

Now the hosts needed to score three goals in order to reach the final, and "Udinese" immediately went all out on the attack. However, the visitors' defense held firm until the 83rd minute.

It was then, with just seven minutes left in the match, that "Udinese" managed to equalize. Christian Obodo outsmarted both of "Inter" midfielders and beat the visitors' goalkeeper with a powerful shot.

Nevertheless, the hosts' illusions of reaching the final were definitively shattered by former "Udinese" defender David Pizarro, who, just three minutes later, once again put "Inter" ahead. The Chilean player's shot along the ground slipped between the goalkeeper's legs into the net.

However, "Udinese" managed to score a consolation goal - just two minutes later, "Inter" defender Marco Materazzi brought down Vincenzo Iaquinta in his team's penalty area, and the referee immediately awarded a penalty kick, which V.Iaquinta converted. But it was all symbolic at that point.

Milan's "Inter" will play against the winner of the "Palermo" and "Roma" tie in the final. The first leg ended in a 2-1 victory for "Palermo", with the return match taking place on Wednesday.
