In the last season, the "Šiauliai" team will have to play without two of their legionnaires for at least two weeks - Vadimas Tarasovas and Konstantinas Zemskovas.

25-year-old defender V. Tarasovas suffered an injury before the season and did not play in the first two "A Lyga" matches against "Ekranas" and "Nevėžis." The Ukrainian player will undergo meniscus surgery in the near future, after which he will be unable to play for two to four weeks.

Meanwhile, the team's other legionnaire, Russian K. Zemskovas, suffered an injury during the second "A Lyga" match against "Ekranas" in Panevėžys. As reported, in the first half of that match, the 24-year-old defender fell awkwardly while fighting for the ball and was taken away by an ambulance.

After examinations, it was revealed that K. Zemskovas only dislocated his shoulder, but he will have to sit out for at least two weeks. Although doctors allowed the defender to lightly train, coaches are unlikely to risk putting the Russian player on the field before fully recovering from the injury.
