The English champion and current leader of the Premier League, London, in August, is preparing for the new season in the city of Chicago, USA, will play a friendly match against the local MLS (Major League Soccer) all-star team, announced the club in a press release.

The match against the All-Star team will take place on August 5th at the new soccer-specific "Bridgeview" stadium, owned by the "Chicago Fire" club. This is already the third pre-season trip of "Chelsea" to the USA, where in recent months the club, owned by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich, has been trying to establish commercial and sporting relations.

"This is the perfect preparation. This time we will have very tough matches against the best MLS players. Last year we played against "DC United" and then the level of American players left a big impression on me," said "Chelsea" coach Jose Mourinho.

Currently in the English championship, "Chelsea" team is just one point away from the second consecutive league title, and they will be able to fight for it on April 29 in a match against the second-placed "Man Utd" club.
