Recently, Edinburgh's talented defender Jose Goncalves has secured his place in the starting lineup with great performance, but this season he will no longer be able to help his team due to a calf injury.
The 20-year-old Portuguese player suffered the injury during the weekend match against Kilmarnock, which Hearts won 2-0. After examinations following the match, it was revealed that the player had strained his calf and would not be able to play for about three weeks, meaning his season is already over.
"Jose's season is already over. He will have to undergo treatment for at least three weeks, so he won't be able to help us in the battle for the second place in the Scottish Premier League," said Hearts head coach Valdas Ivanauskas.
"There is a very small chance that he will recover in time for the Scottish Cup final."
Currently, Hearts hold the 2nd place in the Scottish Premiership with four games remaining, leading Glasgow Rangers by 5 points in 3rd place.
