Today in Grigiškės the first matches of this year's Sunday Football League were played. In the SFL Cup matches, all the league veterans triumphed, not allowing their dominance to be questioned.
The only tense match took place in Kaunas. The team "Viči" defeated the "Švyturio" squad 3-2 after a fierce battle.
In the other matches, the team "Pietų IV", which has been performing very strongly this season, easily defeated the newcomers "Advoco" 7-2.
The students secured their first victory in the SFL matches since last spring, defeating "Vova" 4-1 in today's cup matches. It should be noted that the "Students" had lost all six matches in the B division last autumn.
Another six matches scheduled for today between "Mažoji Statyba" and "Bekentas" have been postponed to next Monday.
