A.C. Milan club before the return Champions League semi-final match was hit by injuries. In Saturday's Italian championship match against "Messina" got injured Andrei Shevchenko, Kaka, and Cafu.
Kaka collided his knee after being knocked down by opponent Alessandro Nocerino, and he was replaced by Massimo Ambrosini on the field due to a muscle injury.
Defender Alessandro Nesta also did not leave the field without injuries - he injured his groin, and Cafu from Brazil was roughly knocked down by opponent Salvatore Aronica. After this incident, a dispute broke out on the field, after which red cards were shown to Aronica himself and "Milan" defender Clarence Seedorf.
Reports also emerged that "Milan" legionnaire from Ukraine Andrei Shevchenko was spotted wandering aimlessly after the match.
So within the ranks of the Milan club before the match against "Barcelona," there were many doubts about the players' physical condition, as Johann Vogel, Filippo Inzaghi, and Paolo Maldini did not play due to injuries in the match against "Messina."
