After the first three matches of the NFKA "A Lyga", earning four points, "Šiauliai" will have to play without another foreign player in the near future. Defender Sergėjus Galiūza has joined Vadimas Tarasovas and Konstantinas Zemskovas who have previously suffered injuries.
In the match against Vilnius "Žalgiris" on Sunday, which ended 0-0, in the first half, Ukrainian S. Galiūza twisted his ankle while fighting for the ball. On Monday, after taking an x-ray, doctors determined that the footballer's foot is only bruised, with no fractures or ligament tears.
Doctors advised the footballer not to train for a few days, so it will only be clear on the eve of the match if S. Galiūza will play in the match against Klaipėda "Atlantas" on Thursday.
As we mentioned earlier, Ukrainian goalkeeper Vadimas Tarasovas, who recently underwent meniscus surgery, and Russian defender Konstantinas Zemskovas, who dislocated his shoulder in the match against "Ekranas", will not be able to help "Šiauliai" for at least a few more weeks.
