The head coach of the England national team, Sven Goran Eriksson, believes in his team's chances to win this year's World Cup, taking place in Germany.
The strategist said: "I have always said that the team can do more now than it could four years ago in Japan and South Korea, when we stumbled in the quarter-finals. It is necessary for all football players to be in good form. The players themselves believe they can do more. This could be of great importance."
The coach was echoed by Wayne Rooney, striker for "Manchester United" and the England national team: "I do not think we should fear anything. This is probably the strongest team since 1966, with a good mix of experience and youth. We go into every game to win."
"I hope to maintain good form and avoid injuries until the end of the season. I can't wait for the World Cup," added the Englishman.
