"Glasgow team and former Welsh national team striker John Hartson will stay in the ranks of the Scottish champion next season, although it was unclear for about two months whether the player from Wales would continue to represent the 'Celts'.
The 31-year-old striker had mentioned that he was considering the possibility of leaving in order to be closer to his family based in Wales, but has now finally decided to continue playing for Celtic.
"Now everything is clear about my future - I am staying where I am," says Hartson. "For a few months, there were various speculations on this topic - that I would go here, there, or there. But I am staying."
"Without a doubt, the team's coach (Gordon Strachan, - ed. note) played a big role in my decision. In a meeting with my agents, he clearly stated that he wants to see me in the team, and I was glad to hear that. I talked about it with my family, and they fully support me," the striker said."
