After securing the title of champions of Portugal last week, represented by a Lithuanian player, suffered their second defeat of the season in the Portuguese championship ("Superliga").
In order to allow many key players to rest before the Champions League semi-final match against "Deportivo", "Porto" coach Jose Mourinho did not field the strongest lineup. The team leader, Deco, as well as defenders Ricardas Carvalho and Paulo Ferreira, and Edgaras Jankauskas were not registered for the match.
With a less strong lineup, "Port" had to admit defeat to "Rio Ave" with a score of 1-0. The only goal of the match was scored by Miguelito in the 14th minute.
