With only one round left until the end of the championship, the team holding 12th place in the Bundesliga announced that they acquired the safety of the "Wacker Burghausen" team playing in the second division of German football, Timo Nagy.
According to reports, the 23-year-old safety signed a two-year contract with the option to extend it later with the Hanover club.
"Timo Nagy is the player with whom we connect the future of the team," said the head coach of Hannover Ilja Kaenzig.
"Our coaching staff has been observing this footballer for some time and noticed that he has a considerable potential for improvement."
Nagy is Hannover's first acquisition before the new season, in which the club nurtures ambitions to perform even better than this year and perhaps even compete for places in European tournaments.
