Harry Redknapp can be calm about his future - club officials confirmed that they have agreed with the manager on a new three-year contract, which will be signed in the near future.
The 59-year-old manager's contract ended after the last English championship match, in which Portsmouth lost, but still retained their place in the country's top league.
"This contract is part of the club's future vision, in which we will strive to establish stability, professionalism, and dedication to the team both on and off the field," said in an official team statement.
This is already the second attempt by H. Redknapp to establish himself at Portsmouth - in 2002, when he first arrived at the club, the Englishman achieved some good results, but left his position after two years due to a conflict with club officials.
After being unemployed, the specialist was taken in by , but H. Redknapp failed to keep the team in the Premier League and was dismissed in less than a year, only to return dramatically to Portsmouth.
