Rumors are spreading louder that French national team and London defender William Gallas will play for another team next season.
The Milan club, currently in second place in Serie A, has long been named as one of the most realistic contenders to acquire the Frenchman, and now the French press claims that both sides are closer than ever to an agreement.
Gallas himself has previously stated that he will likely leave the London team after the season. This was confirmed by the fact that the player rejected Chelsea's offer to extend his contract.
The only obstacle that could prevent the defender from moving to the Italian club is the transfer fee, but Milan officials hope to reach an agreement with Chelsea before the start of the World Cup in June in Germany, where Gallas will represent the French national team.
