Highly intriguing matches await in Marijampolė, where the current third-placed "Sūduva" will face the championship leaders "Kauno". One of the most interesting matches awaits in Marijampolė, where local "Sūduva" will host current championship leaders "Kaunas". In the matches held on Sunday, Kaunas wiped out "Vėtra" 4-0, while the people of Suvalkija crushed "Nevėžis" with a score of 3-0. Currently, the Kaunas club is firmly in first place with 15 points, while "Sūduva" has 10 points in third place.
Last season, Kaunas celebrated all four victories: 0–3, 0–1, 1–3, 3-4.

Neither team has found their best form this season - the attack of the Panevėžys footballers is struggling and they have already dropped points against "Atlantas" and "Vilnius", while the people of Vilnius were defeated by the "Kaunas" team, and also failed to beat "Šilutė" and "Vilnius".
Before the start of the season, the "Vėtra" club, talking about their highest goals, is now forced to settle for 5th place in the table, while the defending champions from Panevėžys are currently in second place.
