Just a few moments after Barcelona dramatically won against Real Sociedad and secured their position in the highest Spanish league, coach Miguel Angel Lotina announced that he is leaving this year's King's Cup-winning club.

"I think it's best to leave now, when everyone is happy, rather than postpone the decision for later," the coach said at a press conference after the match.

M.A. Lotina took over at Espanyol at the beginning of last season and led them to their best place - fifth - in the past decade. This year, Espanyol won the King's Cup, wiping out Zaragoza 4-1 in the final.

"Now I plan to rest," the coach said about his future plans. "I can only say that I have not signed any contract with another club."
