On May 20, the football tournament "Coca-Cola Weekend League" will begin, long-time Lithuania national team goalkeeper Raimondas Žutautas has gathered his family team for the matches. The first "Coca-Cola Weekend League" football matches will start this Saturday at 12 o'clock at Vilnius Pedagogical University Stadium (1 Kraševskio st.).

For the second year in a row, Raimondas Žutautas, the patron of the family teams football tournament "Coca-Cola Weekend League," has assembled a 5-member team, including two of the footballer's children.

According to R. Žutautas, spending weekends with football and families and friends is especially popular in Western countries. "It's great that such traditions are being created in Lithuania. It's nice that I can contribute to it as well," - said the athlete.

The football tournament "Coca-Cola Weekend League" will last for ten summer weekends - from May 20 to July 22. The football tour around Lithuania, where family teams can participate, is organized for the second consecutive year by "Coca-Cola", the Lithuanian Football Federation, the Center for Public Health Education, and the "Nike" company.

Friendly football matches of the "Coca-Cola Weekend League" will take place at Vilnius Pedagogical University Stadium on May 20 and 27.

Anyone can participate in the Weekend League by forming a team of 2 adults and 3 children (up to 14 years old). Participants can register for the event online (www.coca-cola.lt) or by toll-free phone (8800 26533).

On June 3 and 10, the "Coca-Cola Weekend League" will move to the Kaunas Football Manege Stadium, on June 17 - to the central stadium of Alytus, on June 24 - to the Marijampolė stadium "Sūduva." Two weekends - on July 2 and 8, the "Coca-Cola Weekend League" matches will take place at the artificial turf football field in Panevėžys (Smėlynės g.) and at the second stadium of Klaipėda "Žalgiris" - on July 15 and 22.

This year, the tournament participants will play football with "Nike" company's branded balls, each participant will receive a special "Coca-Cola Weekend League" diploma, and during the event, participants will be able to quench their thirst with "Coca-Cola" refreshing drinks.

Last year, in the first "Coca-Cola Weekend League" football tour around Lithuania, lasting 6 summer weekends, more than 700 children and adults participated, divided into 120 teams. The most active team last year was the "Viesula" team from Alytus, which did not miss a single friendly league match.
