And the striker of the England national team Michael Owen, stating that he is already completely healthy, dispelled doubts about whether he will be able to properly prepare for the World Championships starting in Germany in less than a month.

The 26-year-old Englishman has not played since December 31st, when he broke his foot during a match against Tottenham. However, he did come out on the field in the last Premier League match, but it was more of a symbolic appearance.

Now, when asked about his physical condition, the Englishman assured that he is in great athletic shape and if needed, could step onto the field and play 90 minutes even tomorrow.

"I am completely healthy. Some players miss the entire summer due to injury and in 3-4 weeks manage to fully prepare for the upcoming season. Meanwhile, I had more than a month to prepare for the World Championships, so if needed, I could run onto the field and score goals tomorrow," the Englishman said optimistically.

"While injured, I worked hard all the time, poured sweat in the gym, so now I am completely recovered and 100% ready for the World Championships."

"Previously, when a player got injured, it would take at least 10 matches for him to regain his previous form. However, that was 50 years ago. Now it's enough to work hard in training and then play only a few friendly matches."

"These are not the times when if you got injured, you had to sit at home, watch TV and do nothing. Today, right after the surgery, the player starts a rehabilitation program, working hard in the gym. Every day you push yourself harder and harder, and that helps to prepare properly and recover faster."

"While I was injured, I was temporarily out of the media spotlight, but despite that, I worked hard all the time, trained, and because of that, I was able to recover even faster than expected."

One of the best English strikers in the national team has already scored 35 goals in a total of 75 matches and could increase this number at the World Cup. Meanwhile, his partner in attack Wayne Rooney is also injured and there are serious doubts whether he will recover by the start of the championship. Despite this, Rooney is included in the national team and will travel to Germany with his teammates.

Currently, Owen is in Portugal with the England national team, where they have organized a training camp. England's national team coach Sven-Goran Eriksson says he is pleased with Owen's athletic form and his enthusiasm to play.

"Michael misses top-class football. He works hard in training and looks completely recovered, so I believe he will be very useful for our team in Germany," said the coach.
