Last weekend marked the end of one of the most interesting European football championships in recent years – the French "Ligue 1." Although the title was once again won by the "Lyon" club, as it has been for the past four years, the battle for other positions in the tournament table was fierce until the very last round. On average, that's 21.3 goals per round and 2.1 goals per game. Interestingly, the most prolific round was the final 38th round, during which a total of 38 goals were scored in 10 matches – an average of 3.8 goals per game. One of the contributing matches was between "Lyon" and "Le Mans," where the champions celebrated an 8-1 victory. On the other hand, the least action-packed round was the 18th round, where only 13 goals were scored in 10 matches – an average of 1.3 goals per game. The most spectators were seen in the 37th round, where 260,387 fans flocked to the stadiums. The least attended games were in the 31st round, with only 167,487 football fans in attendance. The team with the least spectators at their matches this year was "Ajaccio," relegated to "Ligue 2" – averaging only 3,414 fans per game, which is just 41.54% of the capacity of their 8000+ seat home arena.
