Frenchman Didier Drogba has had enough of English football. The 28-year-old London club striker announced that due to constant criticism and pressure, he intends to leave the team and move to another championship on the old continent.
"I want to leave and avoid all the pressure and scandals," said the footballer who arrived in 2004 for 24 million pounds. "It affects my feelings. No matter where I go, UEFA Champions League will always be waiting for me."
D.Drogba was the second most productive player for "Chelsea" last season, scoring 16 goals and helping the team defend the title of English champions. However, the London club does not hide that they are looking for a strong striker, which would reduce the chances of the heavily criticized leader of the Ivory Coast national team to play in the starting lineup next season.
