Frenchman Didier Drogba has had enough of English football. The 28-year-old London club striker announced that due to constant criticism and pressure, he intends to leave the team and move to another championship on the old continent.

"I want to leave and avoid all the pressure and scandals," said the footballer who arrived in 2004 for 24 million pounds. "It affects my feelings. No matter where I go, UEFA Champions League will always be waiting for me."

D.Drogba was the second most productive player for "Chelsea" last season, scoring 16 goals and helping the team defend the title of English champions. However, the London club does not hide that they are looking for a strong striker, which would reduce the chances of the heavily criticized leader of the Ivory Coast national team to play in the starting lineup next season.

Furthermore, once again, the striker attracted criticism after the victory against , when he told journalists that sometimes he does not avoid falling and simulating fouls on the field, and even scored a goal with his hand.

"Yes, I scored a goal with my hand against the Manchester team, but that's part of the game," said the striker. "But if it had been the "Man City" players who did it, there would be no scandal. Everyone likes to stir up trouble about "Chelsea".

Recently, D.Drogba said that he would like to try his luck in the Italian "Serie A" championship. Despite all this, "Chelsea" manager Jose Mourinho insists that D.Drogba will stay in London.

"D.Drogba is one of those players with whom we do not intend to negotiate about leaving. He has no chance of leaving, so he will continue to play in the "Chelsea" team," said J.Mourinho.

"If the striker plays while being happy - great. In that case, the team will get the greatest possible benefit from him. If he plays while being unhappy, he will not even set foot on the field. So, that's his problem."
