Defender Andreas Hinkel has a serious knee injury and has reduced his chances of participating in the European Championship in Portugal this summer. Andreas Hinkel is currently one of the most promising players from Germany.
The 21-year-old player tore ligaments during training on Wednesday and will not be able to train for up to two months. This made it very difficult for him to represent Germany this summer. Hinkel himself was happy that he would not have to undergo surgery. He said that he would do everything in his power to be able to join the line-up.
Hinkel has promised to continue his career in Stuttgart after signing a four-year contract with the team.
