The striker for the team and the French national team, Ludovic Giuly, once again stated that he is disappointed that he will not be able to go to the World Cup and accused the team's coach Raymond Domenech of not even informing him about his decision.
As we reported earlier, the French team coach did not include Giuly in the 23-player list for the World Cup, instead inviting the young Franck Ribéry from the "Marseille" club, who is considered a discovery of this season, to the team.
"I met all the conditions that Domenech set for the national team players, but I was not included in the team," Giuly said disappointedly.
"He needed a player who was experienced, willing to start the game on the bench, playing for a famous club, having important match experience, and not complaining about anything. That was exactly the type of player I was, but Domenech did not appreciate that," Giuly added.
"He could have at least called me and explained his decision, but he couldn't even personally inform me that he didn't want to see me in Germany," the striker did not spare harsh words for the coach.
