Madridth and Brazil's left-back Roberto Carlos has stated that he will start thinking about his future only after the World Cup, which will start in June in Germany.
Carlos has previously admitted that he has received an enticing offer from a team in London and is considering the possibility of leaving his current club. The player's contract with Real still has a year left and he is waiting for the club to present him with a new offer.
Currently, the 33-year-old Carlos is participating in Brazil's national team training camp and preparing for the World Cup. The player claims that he is not thinking about his future at the moment and will only start thinking about where he will play next season after the end of the World Cup.
"I would like to stay in Madrid, but for now Real is offering me only a one-year contract. Meanwhile, Chelsea has presented a truly enticing three-year offer," said Carlos.
"Nevertheless, I hope to receive a similar offer from the Real executives. If that still doesn't happen, I will have to consider offers from other teams, including Chelsea."
"My priority now is the World Cup and only after it ends will I start thinking about where I will play next season."
