One of the leaders of the England national team and London, defender Frank Lampard, hinted to journalists that he dreams of wearing the jersey of this season's Spanish and UEFA Champions League winner sometime in the future.
Lampard currently has a valid long-term contract with Chelsea. Moreover, the English champions are ready to offer their leader a new contract with even better conditions in the near future. However, Lampard himself admitted that in the future he dreams of moving to Spain and representing the Barcelona team.
"Playing for Barça is my dream," said the 27-year-old Englishman speaking to the Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo. "However, Chelsea is ready to offer me a new contract and for now, I don't plan on leaving."
"Next season we will have an even stronger team and I believe that we will be able to beat all our opponents and win more than one title," he added.
