The Portuguese star became one of the most impressive defenders in the Spanish league when he was bought for 12 million euros in 2002.
The footballer's agent Jorge Mendes confirmed that "Man Utd" is interested in Andrade and added: "Man Utd is not the only club interested in my client. Clubs from other countries also want to have him in their ranks."
It is said in Spain that "Man Utd" has already offered a contract, but the agent denied it: "Nobody from Manchester called us, but I know that they have been watching Jorge Andrade for some time." The agent mentioned that Jorge is also of interest to the famous Spanish club - "Barcelona."
Deportivo president Augusto Lendoiro stated that he has no intention of letting go of his defender: "We are not at all thinking about selling Andrade. He has a contract and remains in La Coruna."
