Serbia and Montenegro's head coach Ilja Petkovic decided to call up his son, defender Dusan Petkovic, instead of the injured striker Mirko Vucinic to the national team.
The 32-year-old center-back from Belgrade's "OFK" has played 12 matches for the national team during his career, scoring one goal. Previously, he has played for Moscow's "Spartak" and "VfB Wolfsburg" clubs, and in April he returned to his homeland.
"Lecce" striker Mirko Vucinic, who represented the national team only 3 times, suffered a knee injury just last week.
