The Munich forward missed almost the entire Bundesliga season after two operations in different knee places and felt the effects of the injury last week. Because of this injury, he had to miss many training sessions preparing for the World Cup.
However, this week, after a check-up by the national team doctors, he appeared on the training field and received permission to play in the B group match in Frankfurt.
