Entrepreneur from Lithuania, owner of the Edinburgh club Vladimir Romanov decided to openly express his opinion to the Scottish Football Association leader David Taylor about the new rule prohibiting club owners from openly expressing their emotions.

The Scottish Football Association voted to ban club owners from expressing their baseless thoughts.

Meanwhile, V. Romanov himself is described as one of the most outspoken club owners in the Scottish league. Earlier reports mentioned the businessman's statement to the Scottish football federation, claiming a conspiracy against his club prevented the Edinburgh team from winning this year's Scottish championship.

"Will the new rule forbid me from speaking out until the end of my life?" - the entrepreneur rhetorically asked in an interview with the "Daily Record" newspaper.

"Will this rule apply as long as you (David Taylor) are in office? I hope you will remain in office for the next 80 years, because without you, no one else will come up with such clever rules. Even if I am punished for my statements, I would like to know how you are preparing to spend this money," continued the owner of "Hearts."

"You already have experience in these matters, so I suggest you establish a new 'Spitting Association.' I guarantee that then there will be no criticism from me. Of course, I understand that everyone's interests come first," ironically spoke V. Romanov.

Representatives of the Scottish Football Association said they were surprised by V. Romanov's statements: "We are surprised by Mr. Romanov's statements, as the agreement to introduce censorship for club owners was agreed upon by all club representatives at the universal federation meeting on Wednesday."

In addition, D. Taylor added that such an agreement was initiated not by his will, but by the initiative of the board of directors of the Scottish Football Association.
