"Celtic" club goalkeeper Arturas Boruc is most likely to be the goalkeeper of the Polish national team in the matches starting on Friday, June 9th in the World Cup against the Ecuador national team.
"Boruc has the best chance," said the coach of the Polish national team goalkeepers Jacek Kazimierski to journalists - "He played in the last matches against Croatia and looked quite good. It's easy to conclude that he has the best chance to show his abilities. In my opinion, he should play right from the start of the match."
Poland beat Croatia in a friendly match with a score of 1-0.
When the Polish national team coach Pawel Janas did not include Jerzy Dudek from the "Liverpool" club in the team, Boruc's main competitor was Tomasz Kuszczak from "West Bromwich Albion."
