Brazilian national team coach Carlos Alberto Parreira believes it is unlikely that Argentina can triumph in this year's World Cup solely because they would have to defeat his team to achieve that.

The football expert also acknowledged that Argentina has many talented players and a good team, but he is not afraid to face them in crucial matches.

"I don't want to go home early - I want to participate in the World Cup until the very last match," said C.A.Perreira.

"I want the team to play all seven matches here. If we have to play against Argentina, I have no doubt that we will win and they will have to wait another four years for their moment of glory."

However, the strategist of the defending champion team admits that Argentina, experiencing less media attention and pressure, could take advantage of this situation: "At the moment, they are in a good position because not many people talk about them. This helps them avoid unnecessary pressure."

The confident Brazilian also stated that the first match against Croatia will be of great importance.

"It is crucial for us to win the first game, as it gives the players confidence in themselves and allows them to calmly prepare for the upcoming battles."
