Sports director Jorge Valdano (Jorge Valdano) confirmed that the club will be supplemented by at least 3 new players during the offseason.
"There will be new faces in our team. We would like to add 3-4 new footballers to the Madrid team," said Valdano.
"Now our main targets are Walter Samuel and Xabi Alonso," added Real's sports director.
According to reports, Real's trading manager Jose Angel Sanchez met with Roma's sports director Franco Baldini in Rome and discussed the possibilities of Samuel and Emerson joining the Madrid team.
Roma values Emerson at 30 million euros, and the player's agent Guillem Veloz claims that his client already has an offer from another Italian club.
Several sources report that Samuel wants to play with the stars of Real in one team, although earlier the footballer stated he wanted to play in the English league.
