Goalkeepers

Player was born in Angola, but after the declaration of independence from Portugal in 1975, Joao left his parents, moved to Portugal and started attending football training sessions. During his professional career, the player played in Portugal in clubs such as "Academica Viseu", "Salgeurios" and "Moreirense", but currently does not represent any team.

For many years, the defender rejected invitations to join the Angolan national team, and only represented the country for the first time in March in a match against South Korea. He is one of the most experienced defenders in the team. He played for "Benfica" and "Stuttgart" teams, later moved to "Leeds United", but could not establish himself in the team and was loaned to "Hull City" in February.

Midfielders

Specialist in set pieces in the team. His career began in lower Portuguese leagues.

14-Mendonca (Deportivo Chaves, Portugal) Date of Birth 9.10.82. Caps: 32 Goals: 3.

This midfielder scored his first goal in his first match in 1999 against the Malawi team, spending only 13 minutes on the field. He won the African Youth (U-20) Championship in 2001, and the team was then coached by current coach Oliveira Goncalaves.

6-Miloy (InterClube Luanda) Date of Birth 27.5.81. Caps: 10 Goals: 0.
