Goalkeepers

1-Mohamed Al Deayea (Al Hilal) Date of birth: 2.8.72. Matches in the national team: 181 Goals: 0.

The player with the most matches played in the national team in the world. He made his debut in 1990. He participated in the 2004 Asia Cup in China, played in the 2002 World Cup, where he conceded eight goals in a match against the German national team. Lately, the main goalkeeper position has been taken over by Mabrouk Zaid, but he will most likely still play in the final stage of the World Cup, as he has accumulated a lot of experience.

Mohammad Khouja's inclusion in the Saudi Arabian team was one of the surprises presented by the national team coach. He replaced Mustafa Malek.

21-Mabrouk Zaid (Al Ittihad) Date of birth: 11.2.79. Matches in the national team: 32 Goals: 0.

Recently became the main goalkeeper in the national team and with the "Al Ittihad" team won the Asian Champions League in the fall of 2005 for the second year in a row. One of the ten nominees for the 2005 Asian Player of the Year award.
