Actively preparing for the UEFA "Intertoto" tournament and aiming to attract more spectators, Vilnius football club "Vėtra" announces a promotion.
As reported on the official club's website fkvetra.lt, all spectators who purchase a ticket for the next Monday's match at 18:00 between "Vėtra" and FBK "Kaunas" will receive an invitation to the "Intertoto" tournament match. A ticket for "Vėtra's" home matches costs 5 litas.
In the first stage of the "Intertoto" tournament, the Vilnius club will face "Shelbourne" from Ireland at home on June 18, Sunday, at 18:00.
Finishing third in the previous Irish championship, "Shelbourne" has collected 25 points in 12 matches this season, currently holding second place. "Vėtra," finishing fourth in the A league last year, is currently in third place in their national championship with 18 points after 12 matches.
The return match will take place on June 25 in Ireland. The winner of this tie will face the club "Odense OB" from Denmark in the next stage.
