At the second World Cup match, Ecuador defeated the favorites - the Polish team. The strategists of both teams agreed that the result was fair.

The coach of the Polish team, Pawel Janas, admitted that they deserved to lose. "The first goal destroyed our tactical plans for the match from the very beginning. It was a strong blow and it became very difficult to get out of this situation," analyzed Janas. "Of course, not everyone played as I wanted them to. I wouldn't want to comment further, we need to analyze what happened."

Regarding the upcoming match against Germany, the coach of the Polish team spoke cautiously. "Our situation before the match with the German national team is quite complicated. We need to take it seriously because we lost these matches physically and psychologically," admitted the strategist.

Meanwhile, Ecuador's coach Luis Suarez was happy and pleased to silence the critics who doubted the team's capabilities. "Ecuador has always been criticized. People said that we can only win in high-altitude places. However, this time, despite the weather conditions and low altitude, we managed to win," Suarez boasted about his team.

"It was a great result. However, it is only the first step in the World Cup. The mountain we have to climb is high," said the team's coach looking to the future.

In the opinion of Ecuadorian forward Agustin Delgado, they should not relax after the first match. "We can celebrate the victory, but we need to focus on the upcoming match against Costa Rica," Delgado told German television. "We worked hard and we were rewarded for it. It was a big step forward. Ecuador is celebrating, but we want to give them even more joy," the forward optimistically spoke.

On June 14th, Poland will play against the tournament hosts Germany, while on June 15th, Ecuador and Costa Rica will test their strengths.
