The head coach of Glasgow's team, Martin O'Neill, has confirmed that the Scottish Premier League champions have also entered the race for world champion Brazilian Rivaldo. The highly acclaimed Brazilian forward is also being pursued by an English club.
"Celtic" coach claims to want to attract Rivaldo to his team and has already started negotiations with him.
"When a player like Rivaldo becomes available, one cannot afford not to consider the possibility of acquiring him. Attracting Rivaldo will be difficult, but he is a great player and we would like to sign him," O'Neill said.
