Spanish superclub Real Madrid once again clearly hinted that next year we will most likely see Jose Antonio Camacho at the helm of the club.
The actions of current Real coach Portuguese Carlos Queiroz have drastically devalued, as the team that was considered a favorite in all tournaments before the season can end up empty-handed.
As a result, it is almost entirely clear that Queiroz will be fired after the season, and Real's vice president of sports, Emilio Butragueno, says that Real needs a coach who knows the team well. As the most realistic candidate, he named Benfica coach Camacho.
"As Real veterans said - 'Camacho is one of us'," Butragueno told Real Madrid TV. "I say this with all due respect to Carlos Queiroz, who does his job well. Carlos came to Real full of various ideas, but the fact is that fortune was not on his side.
