Club goalkeeper Lionel Letizi has signed a two-year contract with the Scottish club Glasgow. The 33-year-old player became the fifth "Rangers" signing since the arrival of coach from France Paul Le Guen.
L. Letizi, whom "P.S.G" allowed to leave the team because the club signed goalkeeper Mickaël Landreau from Ligue 1 rivals "Nantes," will replace Dutchman Ronald Waterreus, who played in Glasgow for a year and a half, in the "Rangers" team.
"Rangers" is a famous club with fantastic fans," said the footballer on his new club's website. "I will be happy to work with such a great coach as P. Le Guen."
"Rangers" finished only in 3rd place in the Scottish championship last season and therefore did not qualify for the UEFA Champions League tournament, so the club will have to settle for the UEFA Cup competitions."
