Italian Alessandro Del Piero has confirmed that he will be playing in the European Football Championship this summer.
Doubts about whether this player will actually be able to play for the national team arose, as the captain of Juventus had suffered an injury, but now he is already healed and back in form.
"I feel good, I am ready for the championship and I believe I can help the national team," said Del Piero.
Del Piero was one of the best players in the last European Championship in 2000, but in the final, the Italian national team lost to the French in extra time.
"The most painful loss of my career was in the 2000 championship against France," said the Italian, comforting himself.
