The French Ligue 1 club "Monaco" acquired talented forward Jeremie Menez. It is reported that 3.5 million euros were paid for the 19-year-old player to the "Sochaux" club. J.Menez signed a four-year contract with the "Monaco" team.
"I wanted to play here because I felt welcomed in this club. It is an ambitious team that aims to return to the Champions League. I know I can improve in this club." - J.Menez expressed his joy.

J.Menez will most likely play alongside his former teammate Sylvain Monsoreau, who is also expected to join "Monaco" soon.
In over fifty matches with "Sochaux," J.Menez scored seven goals. He became the European champion with the French U-17 national team in 2004. The player should strengthen the attack of the new club, which recently also welcomed experienced Czech national team striker Jan Koller.
