Wales national team and Glasgow club striker John Hartson hopes to move to an English team at the beginning of next week.
The details of the contract with the English club were discussed last week, although the clubs had already agreed on a transfer fee of 500 thousand pounds sterling earlier.
John Hartson himself recently said that he is ready to stay with Celtic team.
But the Scottish champions, who have a considerable selection of forwards, seem to want to get rid of one of the highest-earning players in the club.
Last season, Celtic finished first in Scotland and reached the Champions League, while West Bromwich Albion finished 19th in the championship and dropped to the second tier of English football - the Championship.
