Two minutes later, his compatriot defender Rodnei doubled the lead, while Marius Činikas reduced "Nevėžis" deficit in the 24th minute.
In the second half, there were no goals for a whole hour until Mindaugas Panka scored in the 75th minute, soon followed by Muller putting the ball into the Kėdainiai net, and with six minutes left until the end of the match, Rodnei scored his second and Vilnius' fifth goal, sealing a crushing victory for his team.
For the Vilnius team, this was their fourth victory of the season and second in a row, one of the biggest in the club's history. Meanwhile, "Nevėžis" suffered their second consecutive defeat and fifteenth of the season. "Vilnius" earned their 21st point and climbed to sixth place, while "Nevėžis" remain in last place with 4 points.
"The victory was not easy, but the result is really good. It's nice to see the team starting to score goals, winning the second game in a row. Our Brazilians who scored goals have been performing well throughout the season. They are still young and have room to improve," said Vilnius head coach Ivan Švabovičius to alyga.lt website.
