B.Cheyrou joined the "Reds" team from the "Lille" club in the summer of 2002 and was a noticeable figure during his first season at "Anfield". When Gerard Houllier left the club in 2004, Cheyrou did not perform as successfully and left the team after Rafai Benitez took over the team.
In the past two seasons, the player has played for the "Marseille" and "Bordeaux" teams, and now the "Reds" have informed the player that he will find a permanent team this summer. Several clubs expressed interest in having this 28-year-old player on their team, but the team that wanted him the most was “Rennes”.
An agreement was reached with all parties involved and B.Cheyrou will be presented at a press conference on Friday.
Last season, the "Rennes" team finished 7th in the French league.
