One of the biggest scandals in football history currently faced by Turin club was announced on Tuesday, that Italian Fabio Capello has resigned from the position of head coach. This was confirmed by club president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli.

"The Turin "Juventus" football club has accepted Fabio Capello's request to terminate the contract, thanking him for everything he has helped achieve and wishing him further success," the official "Juventus" press release stated.

The former "Roma" and "Milan" strategist has been linked to the Madrid team for some time, so now there is almost no doubt that the Italian will lead the royal Spanish club next season. This is also confirmed by the fact that it was Capello who just a few days ago, in his campaign speeches, promised to bring him to the position of head coach, became the new president of "Real," Ramon Calderon.

Meanwhile, "Juventus," facing relegation to "Serie C," may appoint former team player and "Monaco" strategist Didier Deschamps as the new coach for next season. A few years ago, the Frenchman led the French team to the UEFA Champions League final, and he had previously hinted that he would be willing to lead the club even if he did not play in "Serie A."
