The attacker Michael Owen said that he is not planning to leave his team in the near future.
There were rumors that he might move to another team, but Owen denied them. He told journalists: "I still have this and the whole next season, but a new contract has already been discussed. I have a decent collection of trophies, but I want more of them and that is now the most important thing to me. I am very ambitious and want to play at the highest level, but there is no need to change my current team."
Although Owen said that the discussion of the new contract was complicated, he firmly stated that money is not important to him.
