The forward of the French national team and the team, Djibril Cisse, will play in his home country next season, representing the club.

"Marseille" has been negotiating with "Liverpool" for some time regarding the forward's transfer to the French team and have finally reached an agreement. Cisse will be loaned out to "Marseille" next season and if his health condition is good, after a year the player will permanently transfer to the French team.

The 24-year-old footballer spoke out shortly after the season ended, stating that he is not part of the plans of "Liverpool" coach Rafael Benitez and wants to leave the team. Cisse mentioned that he has always dreamed of playing for the "Marseille" team and readily accepted the offer from the club.

"Marseille" has always been my only choice," Cisse officially stated on the team's website.

The player is currently recovering from a broken leg, but hopes to return to the field in September. The injury occurred during the preparation of the French national team for the World Cup, in a friendly match against the Chinese team.

"We have an agreement with "Marseille" regarding Cisse's loan. It will be the best for him, as breaking his leg twice in the Premier League would have made it difficult for him. Now we have Crouch, Fowler, and Bellamy, so it would have been difficult for him to get playing time and regain his physical form. We wanted more speed, a different forward who would score different goals. Bellamy will give us that," said "Liverpool" coach Rafa Benitez.

"Cisse played many matches, and I am not the type of coach who doesn't use players bought by previous managers. I simply use the best players in my team, and I used Cisse when speed was needed, but now I wanted something different," said the Spanish coach.
