After recent rumors in the press about a possible transfer of Spanish national team midfielder Cesc Fabregas from London club to the royal Madrid team, the player's agent rushed to confirm that his client definitely has no intentions of moving anywhere.
Recently elected as the new president of "Real," Ramon Calderon claimed during the pre-election campaign that he had received a verbal agreement from Fabregas to move to "Real," but now it seems that neither the player nor "Arsenal" want to hear about a possible departure.
"Cesc stays with "Arsenal." They won't sell him even for 100 million," - said the player's agent Joseba Diaz to one of the Catalan newspapers.
"Because of this, there is no need to be disappointed neither for Cesc himself, nor for his family, nor for me. On the contrary - I believe that it is a huge honor to represent a club like "Arsenal."
"We are very grateful to "Arsenal," which is now a part of Cesc's life, just like "Barcelona" once was, and we are not among those who could turn their back on the club and move to the enemy camp."
There were also rumors circulating that "Real" is ready to offer Julio Baptista to the London club, a player that "Arsenal" was interested in before, as part of the Fabregas transfer fee. However, the player's agent categorically denied such a possibility.
""Arsenal" doesn't need Baptista - they need Fabregas," he said.
