The Madrid club has once again confirmed that the Spanish national team goalkeeper Iker Casillas is not for sale.
The goalkeeper was linked with a move to a club willing to pay big money for the 25-year-old goalkeeper.
It was mentioned that the player's price is 30 million pounds sterling, but the new club president Ramon Calderon confirmed that there is no chance of acquiring the Spanish goalkeeper. Casillas extended his contract with the club until 2011, and Calderon dismissed all speculations.
"It's just rumors. We will not consider any more offers. I would value 'cheap' Iker Casillas at 45 million euros. We will not sell him for such money," he said officially to the club's website.
Calderon also added that there are no possibilities to acquire the 21-year-old defender Sergio Ramos, as the English champions Chelsea have been interested in him for quite some time.
"S. Ramos has a great future and he is a great talent. We are not planning to sell him either," added R. Calderon.
