The coach of an English club, Sam Allardyce, has stated that he is ready to sell Mexican national team forward Jared Borgetti.
The 32-year-old J. Borgetti has struggled to adjust to the tough game in the English Premier League, and S. Allardyce said he would allow him to leave the club if both the club and the player receive a satisfactory offer.
"Several clubs have inquired about Jared Borgetti's services. Even though I haven't spoken with Jared since the end of last season, I think it would be appropriate for us to let him go if the deal is fair to both us and him. Jared has found it difficult to adapt to the physically demanding game so far. If he were to stay, I believe he could benefit from the experience gained in his first season in England. By utilizing his opportunities, he could become an important part of the team," said S. Allardyce to the club's website.
After moving from the Mexican club "Pachuca" last summer, the striker scored just 7 goals for the English club during the season for 1 million pounds sterling and did not establish himself in the main lineup of Bolton.
The 32-year-old player is the first Mexican to play in the Premier League, but his tenure is likely to be short-lived as several clubs are interested in the player.
