The English Club acquired the forward for an undisclosed amount.
The 30-year-old former Italian national team player, who was on loan to the club for the entire last season, signed a three-year contract with Manchester City.
"I am very pleased that we will have Bernardo in our team. He is a player that I have been looking for a long time, and this will be a fantastic acquisition for the club," said City coach Stuart Pearce on the club's website.
In 2004, B. Corradi moved from Roma's Lazio to Valencia, but after an unsuccessful first season in Spain, he was loaned out to Parma. Playing for Parma, in 35 matches the forward managed to score 10 goals and the club wanted to keep the player for another year, but instead Valencia decided to sell the Italian.
"I hope to bring all my enthusiasm to the new team and I want to show everyone that I can and want to work hard now and throughout the season with my teammates. I want to perform well here. I hope to have the opportunity to agree with the team. As a forward, I will work hard and help the team score as many goals as possible. In the end, the most important thing is the team - working together as one fist, we will finish the season in a good position," said B. Corradi.
The forward became Manchester City's fifth purchase this summer after goalkeeper Joe Hart, midfielder Dietmar Hamann, and former B. Corradi's teammate at Lazio Ousmane Dabo, and forward Paulo Dickov.
