n the Lithuanian championship, the number of legionaries is increasing - with less than a week left until the end of player registration, the clubs "Kaunas" and "Vilnius" have been joined by new Brazilians, while the clubs "Atlantas" from Klaipėda and "Žalgiris" from Vilnius are trying to sign legionaries from Moldova and Slovenia.

In "Kaunas", where one or two players from the selection may soon move to Edinburgh "Hearts", a forward from Brazil, Rafael Rodrigues, has joined the team. The player was registered for the match against "Žalgiris" held on Friday, but did not appear on the field.

"There was a fierce battle with Vilnius "Žalgiris", so we haven't let the Brazilian onto the field yet. He is a technical player. In the near future, we will test him in the country's first league championship. First, we will let R. Rodrigues play for the team "Kauno Jėgeriai"," said the head coach of "Kaunas" Eugenijus Riabovas officially to the "A lyga" website.

Meanwhile, another young legionary from Brazil, Paulinho, arrived at the "Vilnius" team from "Atletico Juventus" along with the new head coach Caio Zanardi. The player, who plays in the defender position, became the tenth Brazilian in the capital team and has already scored a goal in a friendly match against "Alytis".

So far, the team of "Žalgiris" without legionaries, where recently the Russian Dmitry Shikurin debuted, is participating in the selection with two defenders from Moldova and several other foreigners, but head coach I. Pankratjevas hesitates to guess if they will remain in the team.

As the newspaper "Vakarų ekspresas" writes, the seaport team "Atlantas" also tested legionaries from Slovenia and Moldova, while the main composition of the team, Sergejus Kušovas and Jevgenijus Poliakovas, who have not solidified their positions, are already looking for new clubs.

It is unclear about Valdas Trakys, who played for the team from Klaipėda and whose lease contract ended in July, and Donatas Navikas, who participated in the selection of the Polish "Lodz" club. However, unlike V. Trakys, the latter, unlike V. Trakys, played for "Atlantas" in the match against "Sūduva". The team is also training with the team not attached to Simferopol "Tavria", Darius Žutautas.

As [link="http://www.eurofootball.com/index.php?page=news&id=6598"]announced[/link], the change of legionaries took place in the "Šiauliai" team, while the Kėdainiai teams "Nevėžis" and "Šilutė" try to strengthen themselves with Lithuanians because they are unable to attract foreign players. The ranks of the Kėdainiai team were supplemented by defender Saulius Butkus, who started the season with the "Šiauliai" team, goalkeeper Audrius Paškevičius is training with "Nevėžis", and in the match against "Vėtra" in the "Šilutė" club, Vitalijus Jemeljanovas, Tomas Vyšniauskas, Povilas Šarūnas, and Mindaugas Žigutis, who played for the reserve teams of "Kaunas" and "Atlantas" respectively, were registered.
